Check it. Read it. Stack it. Blog it.

Hellow again and welcome to my final blog.

Since I can remember I have been attempting the climb of Mount Rushmore-Homework and Projects as I am sure many of you out there can relate. I find that I am not surfing the web for fun anymore, well at least not lately. My time spent on the internet is slotted into three main categories; blackboard, e-mail, and research. So when I think of fun websites I have been to lately I can hardly think of anything good.

I will say this though through my researching, and scoureing of the interenet, I have found some very good resources for all things that relate to advertising, and my career.

Non of which stands out more then BlueSkyResumes.com

Maybe it is because I want to get into Web, Interactive and Social Media advertising, but I have been really appreciating and taking notice of well designed, well thought out, and profitable websites.

This website in particular not only has a very welcoming, and dare I say "edgy-cute" design to it. (Got that term from the Simpsons episode I watched earlier, I thought it was a good fit)

The website is designed to be very user-friendly, but not by dumbing things down.

Though what really catches me is that not-only do they provide professional resume writting services, meaning they will write you a killer resume for money, but they also realize that you might not have money and they offer around 50 free sample resumes, all categorized by the field of work they are going into. Not only do they offer great layout designs, but also the content on the samples is not lorem ipsum, its actually the real content so you can get a good idea of what you should put in.

Not only do they give you all that for free, but they also offer a free resume writting course which is emailed to you about every 2 days. The each email is tailored to a specific stage in your resume writting process, and provides useful information about how employers read, and percive resumes.

There are 'paid' portions and services of the website, but what they offer to you for free are the resources to do it yourself, and help you along.

I am impressed by the level of publishing, knowledge, and generostiy of this website, that if I wasn't an advertising student, and were going into anything else I would definatly consider paying for them to write a resume.
